This Sunday on a very busy Fine Tuning I’ll be featuring “The Journey: Part One,” a compilation of classic songs by the Kinks, hand-selected by founding members Ray Davies, Dave Davies & Mick Avory. The Kinks are in the midst of celebrating their 60th anniversary! I’ll also play tracks by Los Lobos, Madison Cunningham and Devon Gilfillian, who will all be performing as part the 2023 Sonic Lunch concert series this summer. That plus a birthday tribute to James Brown, the Godfather of Soul. Fine Tuning, Sundays from 4 to 6 p.m. on ann arbor’s 107one.
