This Sunday on Fine Tuning I’ll pay tribute to Buzzcocks leader Pete Shelley, who died yesterday at the age of 63. Shelley (pictured) formed the Buzzcocks with Howard Devoto in 1975, and the group is renowned for quintessential punk-pop singles like “What Do I Get?,” “Orgasm Addict,” “Are Everything” and “Ever Fallen In Love (With Someone You Shouldn’t Have).” In the album spotlight will be “Warm,” the new solo album from Wilco’s Jeff tWeedy, plus I’ll play new tracks by the Specials and Van Morrison. Fine Tuning: 4 – 6 p.m. Sundays on ann arbor’s 107one.
