This Sunday on Fine Tuning I’ll be featuring the new release “Not Dark Yet,” the first time Shelby Lynne and her sister Allison Moorer (pictured, with Shelby on the left and Allison on the right), have recorded an album together. It’s an impressive collection of cover songs (Bob Dylan, Nick Cave, Jason Isbell, etc.) plus one powerful track co-written by Lynne and Moorer (“Is It Too Much). Also in the mix will be new music by the Blind Boys of Alabama, Gregg Allman, Lucinda Williams & Neil Young. Fine Tuning: 4 – 6 p.m. Sundays on ann arbor’s 107one.
