This Sunday on Fine Tuning I’ll be featuring “Brand New Day,” the brilliant new studio album by the Mavericks, led as always by their powerhouse lead vocalist Raul Malo (pictured). Also in the mix will be songs from Joe Jackson (who has just announced a June 17 concert at the Michigan Theater), plus new tracks by Taj Mahal with Keb’ Mo’, John Mellencamp, Trombone Shorty, and the Tedeschi Trucks Band.
