This Sunday on Fine Tuning I’ll be featuring a previously unreleased live album recorded back in 1968 by veteran Detroit guitarist Dennis Coffey (pictured). Coffey, onetime member of the legendary Motown house band the Funk Brothers, is in sensational form on “Dennis Coffey In The D,” and joined by Melvin Davis on drums and Lyman Woodard on the Hammond B3 organ. Also in the mix will be new music from Elbow, the brilliant rock band from Manchester, England. Fine Tuning: 4 – 6 pm. Sundays on Ann Arbor’s 107one.
