This Sunday at 4pm on my 107one Fine Tuning program I’ll be paying tribute to George Duke, who passed away on Monday at the age of 67. The jazz-rock fusion keyboardist released more than forty solo albums and collaborated with everyone from Miles Davis to Frank Zappa to Michael Jackson to Jean-Luc Ponty. Also in the mix will be selections from “Pushin’ Against a Stone,” the astounding major label debut from singer-songwriter Valerie June.
