This month is a busy one for me on a couple of fronts. Today I’ve got my Playlist review column in the Sunday Detroit Free Press (freep.com), plus I’ve got a column in Ann Arbor.com.
And look for my interview with Carlos Santana in the Free Press on Thursday, July 8 and Gaslight Anthem on July 15.
Ann Arbor’s 107one is sponsoring two free nights of music this week at Top of the Park, part of the Ann Arbor Summer Festival. Join me at Ingalls Mall (right next to Hill Auditorium) and enjoy October Babies and The Ragbirds on Thursday, July 8. Then it’s Groove Spoon and The Macpodz on Friday, July 9. Music begins both nights at 6:30pm.
Later in July, check out the 107one/Sesi Mazda mainstage at the South University Art Fair for four days of free music performances, with Ann Arbor hometown heroes Tally Hall back in town for a concert on Friday, July 23.
