Hi Everybody.

Last Sunday marked the finish of 107one’s Rockin’ for the Hungry benefit for Food Gatherers, Washtenaw County’s food bank and food rescue program. I’m happy to report that an all-time record was set — 226 tons of food were donated – how spectacular

I did manage to make it out to the Palace of Auburn Hills later that night and saw Wilco and Neil Young in concert. Wilco did a fine job, even though vocalist Jeff Tweedy professed from the stage that he wasn’t feeling well. Neil Young and his electric band rocked the house with a 2-hour plus set that featured many of his greatest hits. Got a chance to meet Neil backstage, the 2nd time I’ve had the pleasure of doing so. What a gracious, kind and attentive man he is — and what a performance he put on at the Palace Neil never ceases to amaze me.

My top ten list of albums for 2008 will appear here this coming Monday, Dec. 15 – stop back by then…

Best,

Martin
