It’s been four months now since I became the “morning guy” at ann arbor’s 107one. It’s been intense, instructional and incredibly fun. In addition to the 6-10 a.m. weekday show and my Sunday 4-6 p.m. freeform adventure, “Fine Tuning,” I’ve been interviewing musicians, of course, and people connected to all kinds of cool local activities. The free lunchtime concerts at Borders Ann Arbor store are a blast. And it’s not every day you get to have a live saw whet owl in your studio, or visit the new local sanctuary where it will reside. I hope I’ve been a good conduit for music and community info thus far. Please let me know.
You’ll also be interested to hear that 107one has launched “Listener Co-op,” seeking your musical opinions on its current selections and suggestions for future programming. Feel free to share your thoughts with the powers that be.
