It’s rainy and windy outside….so that makes it a perfect day to stay inside and talk about the Oscars! You are cordially invited to join me tonight (Wed., March 11) at the Ann Arbor District Library for a 2026 Oscars Preview, where I’ll be accompanied by Nick Alderink (Cinema Program Director at the Michigan Theater) to discuss who will win and who should win Oscars at the 98th Academy Awards. We’ll be showing a ton of clips from the nominated films, audience participation is more than welcome, and I’ll be giving away limited-edition Martin Bandyke coffee mugs while they last! The preview will run from 6:00 – 7:30 PM in the Downtown Library’s Lower Level Program Room (343 S. Fifth Ave.) and admission is absolutely free! More info at www.aadl.org.
