This Sunday on Fine Tuning I’ll pay tribute to keyboardist Augie Meyers, who passed away on March 7th at the age of 85. Augie was a founding member of the groundbreaking Tex-Mex band the Sir Douglas Quintet, best known for their 1965 hit single “She’s About a Mover.” Later in is career, Augie was an in-demand studio musician, working with the likes of Bob Dylan and Tom Waits.
