This Sunday on Fine Tuning I’ll feature “Airline Highway,” the brilliant new album from Americana legend Rodney Crowell (top). Showing no sings of slowing down at the age of 75, Rodney’s latest recording includes guest vocalists Lukas Nelson, Ashley McBride and Larkin Poe. I’ll also pay tribute to Mark Vollman (bottom), co-founder of the pop-rock band the Turtles, who died on September 5th at the age of 78. Mark provided harmonies on all the group’s hits, including “Happy Together,” “She’d Rather Be With Me,” and “She’s My Girl.” Fine Tuning: Sundays from 4 to 6 p.m. on ann arbor’s 107one.
