It’s the Ella, Cole & Peter show on Fine Tuning this Sunday! I’ll devote a large part of the program to the world’s greatest jazz singer, Ella Fitzgerald, who was born on April 25, 1917. I’ll feature Ella’s incomparable take on a bunch of Cole Porter classics, including I Get a Kick Out of You, I’ve Got You Under My Skin, and What Is This Thing Called Love. I’ll also be featuring singer-songwriter Peter Case’s fantastic new album “The Midnight Broadcast,’ his first in about six years, plus I’ll play an interview I did recently with Peter to discuss his new album.
