This Sunday on Fine Tuning I’ll be featuring a 40th anniversary tribute to Joy Division’s second and final studio album “Closer,” which was originally issued on July 18, 1980. Also in the mix will be a birthday tribute to Stooges guitarist Ron Asheton (next Friday would’ve been his 72nd birthday), plus I’ll put “Mutable Set” by producer and songwriter Blake Mills in the album spotlight.
