This Sunday in the album spotlight on Fine Tuning I’ll be featuring “Absolute Zero,” the exceptionally inventive new studio release by Bruce Hornsby, best known for his 1986 hit “The Way It Is.” Hornsby’s latest album features contributions from Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon, classical chamber group yMusic and legendary jazz drummer Jack DeJohnette. Also in the mix will be birthday tributes to Iggy Pop & Charles Mingus, plus Easter Sunday selections from Aretha Franklin’s “Amazing Grace” album — and I’m so thrilled to see that the “Amazing Grace” documentary has FINALLY opened in theaters!
