After a week’s vacation I’m back in action this Sunday on Fine Tuning! In the album spotlight will be “In A Poem Unlimited” by U.S. Girls, the recording alias of Canadian-American singer-songwriter Meghan Remy (pictured). Pitchfork calls the album “a righteous collection of razor-sharp songs, full of spit and fury, a high-water mark for political pop music.”
Also in the mix will be new songs by Sunflower Bean (playing at Sonic Lunch next Thursday), Sue Foley, Dawes and The Record Company. Fine Tuning: 4 – 6 p.m. Sundays on ann arbor’s 107one.
