This Sunday in the album spotlight on Fine Tuning I’ll be featuring “The Tree of Forgiveness,” John Prine’s first recording of new songs in 13 years. The legendary singer-songwriter, one of this year’s headliners at the Ann Arbor Folk Festival, is in peak form on his magnificent new album, which includes contributions from special guests Brandi Carlile and Jason Isbell.
