Fans of Mitch Ryder will have two opportunities to catch up with the Detroit rock icon today.
Beginning at noon, Ryder is scheduled to perform at the Bank of Ann Arbor’s “Sonic Lunch” summer outdoor concert series. For more on the event at the corner of Liberty and Division in downtown Ann Arbor, see www.soniclunch.com.
Then, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Ypsilanti District Library (5577 Whittaker Rd.), Ryder will discuss his memoir, “Devils & Blue Dresses: My Wild Ride as a Rock and Roll Legend” (Cool Titles, $25.95). WQKL-FM (107.1)’s Martin Bandyke will host the conversation and Q&A session with the audience.
Seating will be on a first-come, first-seated basis at the free event.
