Hi Everybody.
I had a great time seeing John Mellencamp last night at the Fox Theatre.
He and his band played all the hits, plus he did many selections from his latest album ‘No Better Than This.’ Also had a chance to meet him after the concert in his Airstream trailer, which was parked directly behind the Fox — what a cool guy!
Tomorrow at 4pm on my 107one Fine Tuning program I’ll be featuring tunes from the new Ray Davies album ‘See My Friends,’ which finds the Kinks leader collaborating with the likes of Lucinda Williams, Alex Chilton and Spoon.
Look for my interview in the Thanksgiving Day edition of the Detroit Free Press with Alto Reed, longtime sax player in Bob Seger’s Silver Bullet Band.
