This Sunday on Fine Tuning I’ll be featuring songs from Dawes and Amos Lee, who will be headlining the second night of the Ann Arbor Folk Festival at Hill Auditorium on Jan. 31st. Also in the mix will be a 65th birthday tribute to English singer-songwriter Lloyd Cole, and an 80th (!) birthday tribute to R&B vocalist Bettye LaVette (the pic of Bettye & me was taken backstage before her sensational 2018 performance at Sonic Lunch).
