This Sunday on Fine Tuning I’ll be featuring the latest recording by guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Steve Gunn, who has just issued “Daylight Daylight,” his second album to come out this year! A collection of meditative, dreamy songs that are profoundly beautiful in a quiet, calming way, this album is absolutely lovely from start to finish. Also in the mix will be birthday tributes to Randy Newman (turning 82 on Nov. 28th) and Jimi Hendrix (who would’ve been turning 83 on Nov. 27th).
