This Sunday on Fine Tuning I’ll be featuring the twin deluxe reissue of the Kinks’ first two albums for RCA Records: Muswell Hillbillies and Everybody’s In Show-Biz. This stunningly beautiful box set features previously unreleased tracks, tons of rare and never-before-seen photos of the band, plus original and remixed versions of classic tracks like “20th Century Man” & “Celluloid Heroes.” I’ll also do birthday tributes to Rob Tyner of the MC5 and Tom Verlaine of Television.
